Precautions for installation of rubber and plastic insulation materials

Rubber and plastic insulation materials have been widely used in the field of thermal insulation and cold insulation because of their good fire resistance, long service life, convenient installation and soft material.

Therefore, it is necessary for us to discuss the precautions for the installation of rubber and plastic thermal insulation materials, so as to achieve twice the result with half the effort in the construction process.

After years of on-site installation experience of the company and some national technical standards, the following points should be paid attention to in the installation of rubber and plastic insulation materials:

1. All cutting gaps and joints shall be bonded and sealed with special rubber glue.

2. After installation, all tees, elbows, valves, flanges and other accessories shall reach the design thickness.

3. Do not use too much force when gluing. The interfaces between all materials shall be glued under slight extrusion.

4. During installation, large pipes shall be followed by small pipes, elbows and tees shall be followed by straight pipes, and valves and flanges shall be followed.

5. When installing chilled water pipes and refrigeration equipment, the gap between the two ends of rubber and plastic pipes and iron pipes shall be coated with glue, and the bonding width shall not be equal to the thickness of rubber and plastic materials.

6. The gap of the pipe shall be installed in an inconspicuous place as far as possible, and the gap of the two pipes shall be staggered from each other.

7. Do not install the machine in use. Do not start the machine within 36 hours after installation.

8. The large-diameter rubber and plastic pipe has become oval due to packaging. Please cut the flat side when you open it.
