Difference between asbestos and glass wool
Jun 18, 2022
1. Different materials: glass fiber is a non-metallic material, and asbestos fiber is a silicate mineral material.
2. Different acid-base resistance: glass fiber has good acid-base resistance and can only be corroded in strong acid-base environment, while asbestos fiber has poor acid-base resistance. Even weak acid or weak alkali may affect the strength of asbestos fiber.
3. Different tensile strength: the axial tensile strength of asbestos fiber is very good, but it cannot be creased, otherwise it will reduce its tensile strength, while the tensile strength of glass fiber is very good, even if it is creased repeatedly, it will not have an impact.
