What Is Ceramic Cotton

Ceramic cotton, also known as aluminum silicate cotton, is a kind of aluminum silicate cotton. Widely used in ships, factories, building materials, petroleum, chemical industry, etc.

It is made of selected high-quality pyrogem raw materials, which are melted at high temperature in cupola or other tank kilns, sprayed into fiber, and pressed into shape. The safe use temperature is greater than 1000 ℃.It has the properties of light weight, fire prevention, low derivative coefficient, high attraction coefficient, chemical corrosion resistance, etc. And it can be made into plates, strips, belts, ropes, felts, blankets, mats, mats, tubes, etc. through different densities and forming processes.

Sound insulation performance:

Ceramic cotton products have excellent sound insulation and absorption properties. The sound absorption mechanism is that the products have a porous structure. When sound waves pass through, friction occurs due to the effect of flow resistance, so that part of the sound energy is absorbed by the fiber, which hinders the transmission of sound waves.

Combustion performance:

Ceramic cotton products are inorganic silicate fibers and are not combustible. It has flame retardant performance.
